Who owns the rights to the images?
I retain the copyrights to all images unless special arrangements are made and additional licensing fees are paid. My packages, photos and videos do not include anything more than MLS usage licensing and related social media. The agent or client will have the rights to reprint all images in unlimited media (print, web, video or e-mail) to market the property in any manner for one year or until the property closes, whichever comes first. After that time, images must be re-licensed or a new photo shoot must be ordered.
Only the original client is licensed to use the images and that license is non-transferable. If the client is a home owner and later decides to hire an agent, said agent would need to re-license the images to use them. Agents may not transfer the images to another listing agent without re-license fees.
If the property sells and you would like to continue using an image(s) on your website or promotional materials, please ask. Let me know BEFORE you use it and I am likely to say yes. Just give me a couple shout-outs and a small fee depending on how many images. However, if you use an image(s) without permission, that is copyright infringement and you will be charged.
Can I use these images for Airbnb, Vrbo or rentals?
Simple answer is no. My photo packages, photos and videos are only licensed for MLS posting. For more information about pricing for AirBnB, VRBO and Rentals, please send me an email to dmiscmedia@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to talk to you in detail.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Cancellations must be made at least 24-hours before scheduled photoshoot start time. Real Estate Photoshoots cancelled with less than 24-hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of $50. Any cancellation within 2 hours of the shoot or once the photographer has arrived will be subject to 100% of the package amount.

Weather-related cancellations are subject to the terms above. Some weather conditions can adversely effect exterior home photo quality or prevent safe drone flight. In the event of unfavorable weather, the interior photos will be photographed as planned. Alternate arrangements will be made for exterior or aerial re-shoot and additional fees may apply unless full cancellation is made at least 24-hours in advance.
How is the final product delivered?
All services will be delivered via email. In that email you'll be linked to a webpage where you can easily download everything.
How long will a shoot take?
I allow myself an hour for each service booked. However, it typically will not take me the full hour. Depending on the size of the property, a photoshoot can take anywhere from 1 to 5 hours, averaging around 2.5 hours.
Do I need to be at the property for the shoot?
No, you do not need to be at the property during the shoot. If the house it locked with a lock box, just include that information in the contact form. However, you are more than welcome to join me during the shoot if you want!
My friend with a camera said that they could do it for less, why should I hire you?
Hiring a professional photographer is the best option if you want the highest quality of images for the property you are trying to sell. With my process you will be given professional quality images to help promote your listing(s) to attract potential buyers. The famous saying, "you get what you pay for" is very true in this line of work.
